Aims and Scope

The Journal welcomes original articles as well as basic science and engineering research experiences on prevalent topics covering all odor and indoor environmental issues. Supplementary issues can be published under special conditions.

The Journal is published quarterly on the last days of March, June, September, and December each year. Supplementary issues can be published under special conditions.

Journal history

The Journal of Odor and Indoor Environment is a joint journal published by the collaboration with the “Korean Society of Odor Research and Engineering (KOSORE)” and the “Korean Society for Indoor Environment (KOSIE)”.
The Korean Society of Odor Research and Engineering launched its own research journal in year 2002 under the title of the “Korean Journal of Odor Research and Engineering.” Also, the Korean Society for Indoor Environment started journal publication from year 2004 under the title of the “Journal of Korean Society for Indoor Environment.” Both societies newly launched the joint journal, JOIE, in year 2014 to extend its fields of interests.
